I love being pregnant now, the little guy kicks me all day and all night, I love it! I think I might have a little wild child on my hands. I might be getting a job in Mesquite and St. George. I don't really know the whole job situation but it will all work out. Hey guys, I have been looking around for ways to get CE credits and I found a couple websites that offer them for free. You can get 1 or 2 credits per course you take and it is pretty easy. I have got all my done. Here are the websites:

Attention!!: CE credits COUNT!!!

Hey ladies. In case you haven't called about your license I just wanted to let you know what they told me. According to the Utah State Occupational Licensing board we DO HAVE to have CE credits for this past year. They prorate them so that you have to have 1.3 CE's for every month you have had your license. Which since I've had mine since June it comes to 14.3 I think. I know that doesn't give us all much time but if you can think of any you've taken that might count, make sure you have them doccumented. I renewed my license online and it was really easy but the credit thing's got me a little freaked out. I just found out last week and because of my San Diego trip I ALMOST have enough but I still need a few. IF any of you know of a few credits to earn by the end of May please let me/us all know. I just want to say happy one year for being graduated and finally done with school. I can't believe it has been a year already. Hey everyone, I just wanted to invite everyone that is still here in Utah to a Dream Dinners Party that I am having on Tuesday March 25 at 6:00. It is at the Dream Dinners store 845 North 100 West in Orem, right by Macey's. I have tried a couple of the meals and they are really good, and super easy especially if you are at work all day long. The party is only about a half hour or so and you get to make a dinner to try. I would really love to see all of you there. I thought this might be a good excuse for us to see each other. Please let me know if you will be able to make it so we will have enough food. I miss all of you sooo much, and we really have to get together soon, we are moving in May and I need to see everyone before I go. I don't know about you guys but since we've graduated I've been doing a few case studies a week just to keep up on my studies. I've decided to share one with you:

The patient has always had a scalloped tongue, but after throwing up alot, it gets really swollen and barely fits in her mouth. Also, there seems to be some kind of red patch resembling geographic tongue that comes and goes with the throw up. She is sick as a dog and just wants to lay at home all day in bed. She also has the possibility of getting a pyogenic granuloma.

Ha! I'm pregnant!

I'm 10 weeks along and do not know how or why any of you ever came to school when you were pregnant. I honestly would've dropped out...which would've been a real shame since my education has been so useful here in London. I'm due Sept 14th. We're coming to Utah the first week of July, so if you want to see me fat as a whale, we should all get together!

OK so I got my license and I worked on Monday and all I can say is BOOOO HISSSSS! I about forgot how to do anything plus I am kinda crappy. But alas I got through the whole day and didn't kill or poison anyone. Or poke them in the lip, or make them bleed unnecessarily, or give them a gum-ectomy(unless they needed it, of course) or cry or swear( ok I swore a tad) . Forgot how comfy scrubs are and how much I wish I had one of you gals right next to me so I didn't feel so spazmotica. Plus Medical History? what? you are breathing? check! I/E oral exam-mucocele anyone? and what's that sound? The blessed silence of no instructor telling me what a crappy job I did? Not bad, not great just....me. Marnae that is.

Thanks everyone for your congrats. I can't believe how much not fun this planning a wedding thing can be... but I think that's the Type A personality coming out. I don't really care about a lot of the plans, but apparently everyone else thinks I'm the one that has to decide everything... so we'll see how this turns out. But everyone needs to remember July 10th. So no vacations and Nat - you can't go to OK unless you plan on coming back ;) really though I'll need addresses of where I can send invites to everyone and for those who don't get on this thing, if anyone would like to spread the word so people can get me addresses by June that would be great. Oh and Katie - Alex totally remembers Kip... uh Elder Sterling. hahaha he says hi as well and will be looking forward to seeing you guys at the wedding ;)

Hey gals! This is McKenzie. How is everyone? I miss you all despeately. I am at work, so I have to hurry, but the reason if this post is because I NEED MY TEETH CLEANED!!!! I can't even remember the last time I had them cleaned. How sad is that? I definately have some serious build up on my L-bar and it is starting to drive me mad!
I wouldn't trust just anyone with this. Only the UVSC dental hygiene class of 2007!!! So is anyone else due for a cleaning? I was thinking that I could come to your office, or you could come to mine and we could have a little scaling/catching up party. Please dont leave me hanging and force me to clean them myself. It's never as good that way. If anyone is interested call me or post me:)

Yeah, that's right. I finally got to put my hygiene skills to work. When we went out to Chicago, my dad actually needed me with how busy it gets for the holidays. It was a refreshing change...Brandon staying home with Brayden. I would arrive home again and Brandon found me saying these words, "what do you mean you didn't have 'time' to shower?" (sarcastically). It was great for me. The best part is that for the rest of our vacation Brandon was getting up in the morning with Brayden more often while I got to sleep. He would feed her more, change more diapers, and overall just help out. He said he actually wanted to do this for me because he understands now how difficult it can be so he wanted to relieve me any time he could. He's a sweetheart. Hey Talise, how was Bella's first birthday?

LADIES! It has been a very long time, but since I'm back into the blogging thing i thought I'd say hello. I don't have much time these days to get online let alone check blogs and emails but it's Christmas Eve and I'm waiting for Alex to wake up. See when I got home from Europe I was dating this guy and well, we've seen each other every single day since then. It's amazing, I love his little heart to death. We even have our own blog... who doesn't these days, right? ;) it's a crazy one, so let me just type it for you http://www.chopstickandfortunecookie.blogspot.com/ it's an inside joke we have with the Chinese food references.

As for work, I've been working for Dr. Christensen in Murray about 3 days a week because his previous hygienist only wanted to work 3 days. I however will start working Mon-Thur beginning Dec. 31. I work from 7-5 and it's actually not that bad. The wear and tear on my body though is more than I ever expected. It's hard work what we do, has anyone else noticed that? Feels like I should have a daily massage after work. My Dr. is really great though, a little quirky - he's a tango dancer and a member of the WREB and ADA. So he's gone during the weekends administering tests to hygieneists and dental students. He's also on the board for revising the National test administered to hygienists. Remember that 8 hour long ordeal? He's trying to make it better...ie not so long. I use everything and more that I was taught in school cause he's really up on his hygiene info. I am also going to being trained on a new laser used for cleaning out deep pockets...what ever int he heck that is. Yeah I still probe, do oral cancer screenings, wear a smock everything but it's a job right? ;)

And now it's Christmas time and I have a whole week off. Al and I were supposed to go snowboarding today but with the storm we don't want to get stuck up a mountain on Christmas Eve, so we'll have to go sledding or something. I miss you all and wish you the best, MERRIEST CHRISMAS! Eli

So I have finally decided to stay up here full time. I got a new job working in Pleasant Grove and Payson for a dentist. I will be working 5 days and am a little nervous to do it. I never wanted to work 5 days but I am looking forward to it now. I am so tired of having nothing to do. Kenz- I know it has been months since you asked me where I live. It is Pleasant Springs apartments. It is across Pleasant Grove Blvd from you. It is fun and I love living up there. Anyway nothing new is going on with the dating scene. I am still just dating and having fun. Other than that life is good.

We need to be better about blogging on here. I go to everybodies individual sites but those that don't have those need to write on this one more. We also need to get together again.

I hope everyone is doing great. I am having so much fun being done with school, but I miss all of you. Kip is getting ready to take the DAT on top of school and work and I feel bad that I'm not nearly as busy as him.
Anyway, I think as far as continuing ed goes, we start worrying about it in May when we renew our licenses (i think it's every even year we have to renew...so 2008). I think after May we have 2 years to get our 30 credits. I hope that made sense. Anyway, I love looking at every one's cute blogs!

Hi girls-

So it has been a long time since I wrote so I thought I would update everybody, not that anything new is going on. I am still working at Dr. Wilson's office in Provo and at Dr. Myers' office in Beaver. I love going home and hanging with my family and friends from down there. I am not dating anybody as of right now so life is pretty boring. Talise I second the getting together thing. Sorry I couldn't come last time. I had a family party and actually ended up have a cyst on my right ovary burst which put me in a lot of pain for about a week. I can do it anytime on Wed's, Fri's, or Sat's. It will be way fun to see everybody.

Girls, I'm telling you- you have got to visit Nicole! It was so fun to see her in her element. Of course she fits perfectly in New York. Ty and I were flying stand-by to Greece and my prayers were answered when we didn't make our connecting flight out of NYC so we got to go stay with her and Spen. Don't let her fool you, her apartment is sweet. Everything in the apartment is so nice and brand spankin' new, it is right by central park and, of course, it is decorated so classy and so cute. We stayed up late chit chatting AND they made us waffles, what more could you ask for? We also got to walk her to work at Williams Sanoma, it was so fun to see her working there, it is a huge store in a big sky rise right in the city. Oh! It was just a highlight of the trip! I highly recommend going out there.

So THIS FRIDAY OCTOBER 5TH WE ARE MEETING FOR LUNCH AGAIN AT THE SAME KNEADERS IN OREM AT 1230PM! Be there or be square! Who can make it? Respond in the comments either way if you read this so I know if I have to call you or hunt you down. So far me, Kenz and Laurel are commited. yo! this is nat. basically, i miss all of you so much. working is fabulous, but some days i long for an MATC $1 sandwich and my homies. so this week's news is basically to let everyone know that i need your help finding more work. unfortunately, kenzie and i don't work together anymore (sad/ long/weird/funny story) , but don't fret, i've got a great new job working monday, wednesday, friday. so if anyone knows of a doctor looking for a P/T hygienist please let me know!!! i would even want just like one of those days or something. i'm open to all sorts of possibilities. other than that, nothing else new is happening at the michaelsen homefront. soren is a little smartie pants. he got a 20 on the DAT (which isn't what he wanted, but probably still good enough to get into dental school), and he got a little bonus at work for being the best reviewed TA of last semester. i'm so proud :) so we'll let you all know when we hear back from dental schools and such. i really love you all and miss you severely. please blog to alleviate my pain. anyone pregant?

So it's been a while, I know and sorry for keeping everyone in suspense ;) but I'm home now. I've been back from Europe for a month now, but took a few several other trips which is why I haven't posted. And now sad to say it's back to reality. I've been temping just a few places and my last one is this next Mon - Wed. after that I am officially out of a job and it's been a lot harder trying to find one than I thought. If anyone knows of any good ways to look for one up here that would be a great big help. Ok, anyway enough of the small talk, here's what yo've all been waiting for....
We started off our trip in Paris for a few days, then took a trip out to the coast to see Mont St. Michel (amazing) and then the Beaches of Normandy. -yeah bit of a tear jerker at the American Cemetary. Then we barely made our flight to ENGLAND!! It was probably one of the happiest moments of my life. We saw England and tons of it for a few days. Parlaiment was sureal, Buckingham Palace and changing of the guards was a little different than I'd thought it would be. We rode double decker busses and ate at every Hard Rock Cafe in all 5 countries that we went to as well as a Magnum bar -DELICIOUS!! Then we went up to Scotland, had lunch across from Edinburgh Castle. And then over to Ireland...HEAVEN it was like St. Patrick's day every day. Although I did learn that "Top O' the Mornin'" is totally an American phrase, they've never even said it and don't know where we got it from. Yes Harry Potter was EVERYWHERE and on the first day of our tour I met a girl who was reading the 7th book..so that afternoon when she finished it, she gave it to me. And three days later I knew how it ended!! It was perfect to read it while I was in England. We stopped in Wales on the way back from Ireland.. apparently it's the Happiest Country...Sure. They did have a Hard Rock though, so I was happy :) We ended our trip in England seeing the Roman Baths and Stonehenge. Which we didn't pay the 10 pounds to go across the gate because you can see it perfectly from outside for free. And then it was over. Just like that. Three weeks went by so fast. I have thousands of pics but these are just a few of the ones to show you. Hope it's not too overwhelming and doesn't make anyone too jealous. Em if you have any questions feel free to ask. It was seriously the most amazing trip of my life and I can't believe it's over.

Three days before I left I went on a blind date as a favor to a girl in my home ward and ...well when I got back we started dating. His name is Alex and he's pretty much amazing too. When I got back from Lake Powell we hung out again and have spent every day together. Makes it really hard to want to get a job. So life's going great and I am so excited every time I look at everyone's blogs. Crazy how our lives are changing. I wish everyone well and am sad I was gone for the last lunch. Nico have a blast in NY. And everyone else who's too. Summer's over but there's so much still to do.

Hey everyone, its Talise. Sorry I really suck at keeping up with the blog. I check it all the time, I just never get around to writing. I apologize. I hope that everyone is having a fantastic summer. Ours has been great, but it is just about over. We are starting to pack up to come back to Utah at the end of the week. I am actually really sad to leave. It has been so nice just sleeping in everyday and hanging out with Bella all the time. It is going to be so hard to go back to work and having Jeff in school again. I really love it here in Washington, the weather is great and there is so much to do. Jeff got 2 job offers this week here in seattle, so we just have to decide what is best and we will be here for sure next summer. I am really excited!

Just in case any of you forgot, Bella is probably the cutest thing ever! She started crawling over a month ago and she is into everything. She has also started pulling herself up onto the furniture. Ok Gals! We have set the date! We are all going to meet for lunch on Friday, Aug 10th at 12:30! We will be eating at Kneaders in North Orem (Sorry in the text message I said Lindon, but it is officially Orem I guess). If you haven't ever eated there you are in for a treat! It is delish! We kind of figured it is a good "middle" meeting ground, but if it doesn't work for anyone let me know. It is easy to find. The address is 1990N State Street. So if your coming via freeway, I would just take the 1600 N exit and head North until you come to it on your right hand side (East side of the street).

Ty and I just got back in town last night and the first thing I had to do was check this blog to see whats new in the RDH world. I DEFINITELY want to get together this week. I'm pretty much free any day this week. You guys, Ty is done with the bar!! Can you believe it? I am so happy- I finally have a husband again. We went surfing all week to celebrate- I hope you have all been stalking my blog like I have yours (plug for my blog: it's awesome even though, like Kenz, we have no kids to show off- tyandemily.blogspot.com) I posted some pictures there but I'm going to put some on here too. I'm obsessed with my new nephew. My sis is in town and me and Owen took a little cat nap together yesterday, he's the man.

Me and Ty celebrated our 2 year anniversary last week- it was funny, we pretty much camped on the side of the freeway on the night of our anniversary, it was so romantic. I miss you all and can't wait to see you all very soon- I'm reading Harry Potter right now, I love it. When does Eliza get back from Europe? I'm dying to hear about her trip. Nico, I'm so sorry about your apt- your new one sounds way sweet though!

Hey there everyone! This is Kenz!How are you all? I love that everyone is getting their own blog. The johnsons will be up and running in the next weeks or so:) Get excited about it!

So Natalie and I have been talking and we decided that a dental hygiene reunion lunch is definately in order. Especially because our little Nico is leaving SO SOON! So I will just throw so dates out there and see if I get any bites.

Hello everyone. So, we lost our fabulous apt...which wrecked our summer schedule...(sorry about the no show at the Xango tri...you can thank Cathy, the evil landlord who kicked us out) Thus, we had to fly out to NYC to look for a new one. We found a great....very tiny (400 square feet--about the size of Marnae's kitchen) converted one bedroom apt. I'm stoked about the location, but not sure how Spenny will fit in the space. Our address is 56 West 65th Street (check it out on google earth if you love me). I'm half a block from the Temple, Lincoln Square, and Central Park. Even though I lost the 2 bed apt...I still expect visitors often as Spen will be traveling alot!!! Girls trip....

This "street art" was found near my apt. I think the artist was welcoming us. He must of known we were from "Utah". (But seriously...if you are going to create "street art"...why Utah???)

And we are trying to sell the Passat and our bedside tables and dresser. Any takers?

I leave in 2 weeks and would love to play. What's everyones schedule next week? I heart you all and miss you plenty.

I PASSED the dumb california boards!! I am so happy! It's so nice to officially be DONE, yippppeeee!! And Happy 24th today! Ty is in California taking the bar as we speak, I'm dying. He's studied like crazy, but this last week when I've told people he's taking the california bar I hear all these horror stories of people failing. There was only a 35% pass rate for the Cali bar in February. Let's just hope Ty makes it into that 35% or we might be home from London a little earlier than planned (Ha! He'll pass...I hope). Oh my sweet Amelia! Does she miss me? Give her my love, and all the other babies.

My sister had her baby boy last week, they named him Owen Michael. Oh how my heart melts for him. They actually just found out he has PKU. and those of you who were intently listening in physiology class will remember that that is when your body is missing the enzyme that breaks down protein. So baby Owen will never be able to eat meat, dairy, eggs, milk, enriched flour...it's sucks. My sister's pretty overwhelmed, but luckily they've caught it now and can manage it with diet. It's pretty crazy though, it won't make him sick if he has protien, it causes brain damage, so it has to be a pretty strict diet. So I'm officially starting a vegetarian diet for a month, I might try to do the vegan diet that he'll have to be on, but I really don't know if I can do it. My family's just going to try the diet for awhile just to get some recipes and ideas for my sis. Anyway, if any of you know anyone/anything with PKU let me know, I've been researching it like crazy.

I love and miss you all. When are you coming to London, has anyone bought a plane ticket yet? Just let me know the dates you're coming and I'll write it in my calendar.

Our Humble Abode

This is our humble home down here in HOT San Antonio. I thought I would include some pictures of it so ya'll can see where we live. It's a cute home, nice and cozy with little snakes in the yard and spiders the size of my big toe. We've killed about six of them, two with large egg sacs on their backs. Luckily we haven't encountered the scorpions yet that I've heard about. Time to call the exterminator!

You're not the only caboose, Elizabeth. I haven't even started looking for a job. We just got back from a nice vacation with my family in Chicago and Brandon started school yesterday. Now that everything is calming down with the move and vacation and starting school, maybe I can begin to look for work. Ya'll keep talking about how nice your paychecks are and I can't wait to join the fun. We've figured that if I work one day a week, it will pay enough to cover our mortgage bill and then some left over each month. I hope it works out the way I want.

We attended the "Welcome to the Profession" ceremony on Sunday and there's about 15 students from BYU. All the non-members are shocked by all these students that are married with children. They keep telling Brandon, "I don't know how you're doing it." I'm thinking, Brandon? 'What about being the one sick and pregnant and having a baby while in school?'jk. There are a lot of females in his class. One is pregnant, another has a three month old. Her husband and baby live in Austin (about 2 hours away). She is going to live in San Antonio while her family stays in Austin and drive home only on the weekends while her parents take care of their baby. That's nuts! I don't know how she's doing it. We took a tour of the dental school and I have been getting familiar with the program and it reminds me a lot of ours, except for a really nice clinic. They stay in the same classroom all day long and this semester they have dental anatomy, histology, radiography, dental materials, etc....sounds like a cinch, jk. I'm sure it's way harder and a lot more information to learn but I'm curious to compare what I've learned to what they will learn. I've already made friends with a few LDS wives. They're great. Katie, Natalie, I'll have to keep you posted on what to expect the first year and hopefully rule out the horror stories I've been told.

Check out our blog to see how Brayden is growing. These last few weeks we've had awesome pictures taken of her because we've done lots of fun things and my sister in Chicago has a really nice and expensive high tech digital camera and loves taking everybody's picture, but the pictures I will take from now on aren't going to be as exciting. Hey ya'll! It's Sunday night and I have a little over 24 hours before I leave and can't sleep there are so many little things left to do...like pack! and I'll be spending the majority of tomorrow with my best friend being her guinea pig at Paul Mitchell for the day in Provo...so I'll get it all done somehow ;) But I just wanted to write a quick note. Thanks for the great book ideas, It helped a LOT just gotta make sure I can fit them all. I'm only allowed 50lb and still have to have room to bring stuff back. I can't tell you how excited I am it's going to be amazing. I wasn't planning on working before I left but I got offered a temp job so I took it, and LOVED IT ... and the paycheck. I only did it one day and got as much as I would have made in an entire week at UVSC. Then I got a call from another lady asking me to temp when I get back. So I'll have some working time to find a more permanent job. I'm really excited about it. Other than that life's just great, my brother got married Thursday and it doesn't seem real yet. I won't get to see him for like a month :( My sister still hasn't sold her house, she's decided to come with us on the trip and I think it'll be good for her. She was denied the surgery for the hole in her heart because as of 10 days before the 3rd time her surgery was scheduled the FDA decided that the device hasn't been through enough testing and therefore is calling it "experimental" meaning insurance will no longer pay for it. Which sucks because she was terminated from her job the day before my clinical boards because of her heart condition. She's been trying to fight that ever since but it's a slow process. So she's been unemployed and having to pay her own insurance and with all the other medical conditions she has it's been tough. It's amazing to watch someone use the gospel so much in their lives to give them comfort and guidance. She is so strong and amazes me every day. My life is so blessed.

But anyway, congrats to all those who've got jobs...I think I'm the last one haha always bringin' up the rear. Hope ya'll are enjoying your summers! I'm sure I'll share more when I get back WAHOO!! LOVE you all

It's Stef! I got a job with a really great dentist in Mesa! I start on Monday! It's not as close to where we are going to live as I wanted but it's not too bad. His name is Dr. Dickerson. We did a walk through of our house on Monday so now they are going to start putting up the drywall! It should be done in about middle to end of September. It seems like the date keeps getting later and later. But I bet we'll be in before we know it. I took some pictures at a resort we went to for our 2 yr. anniversary but our cord to connect the camera to the computer is packed away somewhere. When I find it I will post it. I'm glad everyone is doing well!

Hey girls-I am just writing to say hi and tell you all that I am starting my new job tomorrow morning. I am so excited and I can't wait. I am still working at Sports Authority, but hopefully not for very long. I went to Cali a couple of weeks ago and it was so nice. I honestly just hung out at the beach all day everyday. It was really nice to relax. I went to Laguna Beach and decided I am going to have a house there one day. Things are really good. I am just enjoying life and trying to get through until I can quit Sports Authority. I hope things are good for everybody. I miss you guys and think we need to get together again sometime soon.

Hi Ladies! Wow it's a good thing it's not hot outside or anything. Holy crap. So I get my first nice paycheck then my boss goes on a 2 week vacation. Lame! I got my living room painted and the yard weeded and remodeled. But the kids have been driving me crazy!

Derrick always reads your blog entries with me. He says 'Hi' to everyone and just warned me to watch our budget when I check out the make-up stuff. I'll watch it alright....fly right out the window :)

Happy 4th of July to everyone. I hope ya'll have fun plans for tomorrow. I just painted the girls toes red and blue with white flowers. I also bought them matching t-shirts and visors. D.J. just had his 8th birthday yesterday. We had a swimming party with the fam. I've already had to take away two of his birthday presents. Toys that fly through the air are not good for my son. I'm such a mean mom. He can earn them back through manual labor :) Oh, side note for you future moms.... play slime gets everywhere, no matter the efforts taken to prevent it! Being a mom is kinda fun with no school to worry about. Alyssa is making a killing off my aversion to house work. I pay her to do it, but she's now learned to barter. Two bucks only got 2 loads of laundry folded. She drives a hard bargain.

Hi all! How is everyone? No one has posted for a while so I thought I would start us back up again. Talise...thank you so so much for the e.l.f tip. I went crazy last night! I can't wait to get my order. What an amazing deal!

So I don't know if you all know this but Natalie and I are working for the same dentist in AF. It is the absolute greatest! Our rooms are connected by a cabinet that houses an X-ray unit. Between patients we open our doors and chat away. It is SO FUN for me to work with her. She makes everyday a brighter :)

So yea... how great is it to not work out of that nasty clinic anymore. I can't believe how much better it is to work in a real office. No Ms. Davidson, o paper work, no getting checked off 3 thousand times, no crowdedness, did I say no Ms. Davidson?... I could go on and on!

So Ken and I went to Lake Powell a couple weeks ago. It was so hot, but so much fun. I will post a picture of Grizz in his tiny little life jacket soon! He hated the water but I made him swim with me anyways.

So (don't you love how all my sentences start with "so"?) anyone up for floating the Provo Riv on Saturday?? Ken and I are totally in! I think that Nat and Em are in too. Don't be party poopers! Join in on the fun!!

Hi Ladies! Awesome pictures! Keep 'em coming. It was great to see everyone at Marnae's the other day. Derrick was bummed he missed it. We've just been working away. I work 4 days a week at Dr. Sands' office and every other friday at my brother-in-law's and Derrick has been working 60 hour weeks. Crazy! I don't know how he does it. He finally starts a 40 hour a week job tomorrow. One night last week I came home and slept from six in the evening til six the next morning. It's a good thing my hubby is a superman. Please tell me this is normal and i'll get used to being away from the house ten hours a day. I do love the paychecks though! Derrick and I are thinking a new house is possible soon :)

Talise i'm so sorry about your course! That sucks! I hope things are better now. I can't wait to see pictures of Bella. Everyone be safe during your travels. Miss you guys lots! Worst month EVER

Hey guys, its Talise. I miss you all so much!! I am so jealous reading about all of you having such a fun summer. This has been the worst month of my entire life! Right now I am in Vancouver, WA for my restorative course. I got here on monday and within the first hour of class I found out that i really didn't have to do this after all. I can get a licence for just hygiene in washington as long as i have 560 hours in another state(which I will next year). I almost started crying in the middle of class. I would have left right then if this didn't cost me $3000.00, but i am still here. I can not believe how hard this is. On monday they showed us a 10 minute video on how to do amalgam fillings and then expected us to just do it. I feel like the biggest idiot! Then today after a really informative Gordon Christensen video on composites, my instructor handed me a high speed and expects me to see a full day of patients tommorrow. I am Terrified!! I just do not understand how they expect us to do this on real people after 4 days of training. So, yeah i'm sorry to be so negative on my very first blog, but i just needed to vent a little and I know that all of you will understand. On a happier note, Bella is the cutest thing in the universe. She is trying so hard to crawl. She is such a sweetie! I promise that next week when I am done with this restorative crap I will post some pics. Well I am so glad that everyone is doing well and I miss you all so much.

Wow! Ya miss a few days and it feels like I have so much to catch up on from everyone. So how was K-Fed's reception? Sorry I couldn't make it, or respond to anyone, I had the worst case of strep I've ever had, layed me out for 5 days. I wish I could have gone, just to see you all. McKenzie and Emily, I am so proud of you for your tri!! again. . . inspirations. Denise - Brayden is so FREAKING cute, it's ridiculous how much she's growing up. Keep the pictures coming all you want. Stefani - I am so excited for your new house! I can't wait to get back out of my parents and have one! Kara I will miss you so much in Cali . . . please have fun and know I wish I could be there . . I was so close to quitting just one week early. Natalie and Kenz - I hope you have fun working for Dr. Erickson. Maybe I'll have to come by and see you some day. Except I don't know when ya'll will be working? If you tell me I might bring you a treat ;) Katie - if I hadn't known you in person I'd think it was impossible for someone to look as beautiful as you! Goodness you two looked amazing. I'm glad you're liking Dr. Ashman, I really liked his office. And the excitement about the paycheck is what will get me back to work after my vacation... Speaking of. . 27 days ladies and I will have the biggest dream come true. I'm sure I will write before then, but we went over our official packing lists this weekend and I got so excited I wanted to pack right then, strep and all couldn't get me down.
Thank ya'll for the recipes, don't have too much use for them now, but I'm sure someday I will. and I can use all the help I can get. So here's my one small contribution:

MUDDY BUDDIES (were you expecting anything else ;)
9 cups Rice Chex
1 cup chocolate chips
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/4 cup butter
1 tsp. vanilla
Powdered sugar

melt chocolate, peanut butter and butter till smooth and creamy add vanilla. Pour over chex coating evenly. Then pour in a bunch of p. sugar. Enough to give it a good coating. I usually use about 1-2 cups and then shake. Then I check and if I think it's coated enough I'm done, if not, just keep adding until you do. (make sure you use a BIG enough bowl with a lid, or I usually dump my chocolate covered chex into a plastic sack and shake.) and enjoy!!

hey kara you should chat with kim about the other doctor that she's not working for. or you could always call this dr. bennett guy that i know... 375-1414. he just needs a friday hygienist right now, but i think you can work more after awhile. talk to sue and tell her that you graduated from UVSC. i gave the number to em, but i think they might want someone more permanent. so yeah, have fun in cali!! btw... for all those wanting to float the river, it's super fun and a tire tube at Big-O Tires is like 10 bucks and you can get tan :) kenz, we can wait for you if we need to, but last summer we went like 5 times so we will have lots of opportunities! did anyone go to the reception???

Chocolate Chip Cookies

Hey everybody I just wanted to write and say hi. I am getting ready to go to California for the weekend. We are leaving on Saturday and coming back on Wednesday sometime. I am so excited to have a vacation and get away from the Sports Authority for a while. I am still liking my job there for the most part. I go through those bad days but most days I really like my job.

I was only planning on working 2 1/2 days a week and then I had kind of changed my mind to go full time at the end of the summer. Well, I just found out that I will probably only be working the original 2 1/2 I had planned on at first. We don't think we can find a hygienist to only work for the summer. So he is just going to hire this girl that wants to work part time permanently and I might have to try and find one or two more days a week. So if anybody knows of anything will you let me know.

Here is the recipe for my chocolate chip cookies that I make almost every Sunday afternoon (that is if I am in Provo). So if anybody ever wants to come visit on Sunday I usually have fresh hot cookies lying around my house. Here it is:

3/4 cup crisco
1 1/3 cups firmly packed light brown sugar
2 Tbls. milk
1 Tbls. vanilla

Combine in large bowl.
Beat in:
1 egg

Add:
1 3/4 cup flour
1 tsp. salt
3/4 tsp. baking soda

Stir in chocolate chips

Bake at 350 for 8-10 minutes.

This is actually just from the Crisco sticks package so an easy way to find it is to buy some of those.

This is Stef! I tried to write something before and I didn't know how so i ended up writing a comment on something Kenz wrote. I don't think anyone saw it. Anyway, I am in AZ right now. We just got back from Mexico and it was so fun! And of course I got sunburned on the first day. We are driving back to UT on Sunday and we are going to move down to AZ on the 27th so we can be back in time for Brett's cousin's wedding. Our house is coming along good. They had just put in the windows before we left for Mexico. I am going to drive over and see it again today! I'll attach a picture of it from last week. I took around some resumes and I have talked to a couple of Drs. but I can't do much till we move down here. I found a job for one day a week but they understand that if I find something for four days a week I will take that instead, if I can't find another part time. I love you guys and miss you! (not enough to go back to school, but a whole lot)

Your wedding pictures are beautiful Katie! McKenzie, I'm jealous of your cruise. Looks like it was my kind of vacation. I wish I could've been at the party. Sounds like it was fun. I love our new little house here in Texas. It's a lot more than what I expected. It's been fun making it our own. Lots of painting and decorating. However the excitement of moving in has faded and home sickness for Utah has set in. Hopefully making new friends won't be hard since when Brandon starts school I'll be a single mother for four years. The people have been really friendly so far. On the bright side I got my Texas hygiene license now which feels good. Hopefully ya'll don't mind seeing pictures of Brayden because I love sharing them. Her little personality is shining through and she is so much fun. Have fun at Kristen's reception for those of you that are going.

Hey Everyone! I'm getting my wedding pictures organized so I thought I'd show you some. Sorry we couldn't make it to Marnae's! We had a crazy weeked. Kip's taking the 2nd half of O-chem right now (summer term stinks for that!) and has tests some weeks from 7pm - 10:45! Major bummer. They always schedule them at the most random times too. Luckily us girls don't have to worry about tests any more!

I really love working at the 2 offices I'm at. I'm at Ashman dental on MW (soon to be 1/2 Fri) and then a place up in Orem on T Th. It keeps me busy since kip is at school and work from 7:30 - 5 or 7 at night. And I just got my first paychecks (being a hygienist is the greatest thing in the world!). It feels good now that I'm getting comfortable with what to bill out and how to deal with patients in a private practice. It's a lot different.

So anyway, I think I have a present for Kristen so I won't be able to go in on the group gift. Hopefully I'll be able to drag Kip to the reception. I'll just have to convince him there will be good food there! Is anyone else going? Good luck in the triathalon! Sounds crazy but I'm sure it will be fun!

Reason being is I am running errands tomorrow and I want to grab a gift card while I am out. Here is an AMAZING recipe that I got off of the Rachael Ray Show. I love her! I made this and Ken said it was the best thing I had made in a LONG time. I didn't know if I should take that as a compliment or not... Em also made this and loved it!

Oh PS, before I write the recipe. I want to float the Provo river bad bad bad. I am going to be in Lake Powell next Sat. so if you guys do it then, just promise me that you will do it again with me someday:)

2 1/2 cups chicken stock, divided

1 10-ounce box frozen peas1

1/2 cups couscous

3-4 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil (EVOO)

1 cup flour

Salt and pepper

2 lemons zested, 1 juiced

1 1/2 to 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breast cutlets, cut into bite-size pieces

2 cloves garlic

2 tablespoons butter

2 tablespoons poppy seeds

10 leaves of basil, chopped

10 leaves of mint, chopped

(I didn't especially love the mint and basil. It was good but I think that cilantro would be better)

Place a medium-size saucepot over high heat and add 1 1/2 cups of the chicken stock. Bring to a boil then add the peas and the couscous. Place a lid on the pot and turn off the heat. Let sit for 5 minutes.While the stock is coming up to a boil for the couscous, place a large skillet over high heat with 3 turns of the pan of EVOO, about 3-4 tablespoons. While the skillet is heating up, place the flour on a plate. Toss the chicken in the flour to coat, shaking off any excess. Add the chicken pieces to the hot skillet. Season the chicken liberally with salt, pepper and the lemon zest, and cook for 8-10 minutes, stirring every now and then to get them brown all over.

With a microplane or the smallest grade of a handheld box grater, grate in the garlic the last 2 minutes of cooking.

Once the chicken has browned, add the remaining cup chicken stock to the skillet. Once the stock is hot, add the butter and poppy seeds.

Stir until the butter has melted and the sauce has thickened up a bit, about a minute. Turn off the heat and squeeze the juice of 1 lemon into the pan.

Remove the lid from the pot of couscous, add the basil and mint and fluff with a fork. Place a portion of couscous on a plate and top with the chicken. Enjoy!
Yields 4 servings.

so are we going in on a gift or what? i talked to kenz today and she's up for it and it seemed like most girls at marnae's house thought that could work... so are we actually gonna do it. just let me know cuz if not i'll just send her a nice card with a gift card in it. i can't go to the reception cuz i'll be at the sports authority that day yelling at all the customers buying last minute father's day gifts. anyway, about the quart of fruit, we used just a quart jar of home canned fruit... yeah, very unrealistic when we run out of the fruit the mother-in-law gave me. but she said you could use just regular old fruit out of a can. (by the way, one quart would be about 4 cups... maybe 2 cans) but you can use peaches, apricots, fruit cocktail... ENJOY! i want to float the provo riv next saturday, like a week from two days from now... let me know!!!!

PS I have a honkin cold sore where what you might call the "commisural lip pit", It's on my upper and lower lip (might as well be my whole right cheek), so I can't open my mouth that wide, it's a real treat. Maybe I'll have Ty take a picture of it and I'll try to post it. Ha! That'd be awesome.

SOREN'S SPICY SPICE CAKE

4 c. unsifted flour 1 tsp. salt

4 tsp. baking soda 2 c. sugar

2 tsp. cinnamon 1 quart fruit w/o seeds

1 tsp. cloves 2 eggs

1 tsp. nutmeg 1 c. oil

Frosting:

½ c. butter 4-5 c. powdered sugar

1 c. brown sugar 1 tsp. vanilla extract

½ c. evaporated milk (or 2% milk)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour jelly roll pan. Blend fruit in blender. Add oil and eggs. Mix all dry ingredients together; add wet ingredients to dry. Bake for 30 minutes. Cool before frosting. Bring to a soft boil butter, brown sugar, and milk together. Beat in powdered sugar. Add vanilla.

Hey girls....how is everyone? It was so fun to see everyone at Marnae's last weekend. So....when are we going to float the Provo River?? I think maybe next saturday...just throwin' it out there. Ty just walked in, he says hi. Hmm....what else do I have exciting to say? Oh I might just have my first RDH job, just filling in for a prego lady in July. I don't want to jump in the working world too fast so I thought July sounded like a good time to start.

We're selling our cars, one of Betsy's friends is out test driving it right now..I'm sorry I have nothing to say. I just fill like I'm talking to you all. P.S. Ok, I'm reading the best book. It's called the Secret Life of Bees and you should all read it. It's a way fast read. The day we went to Marnae's, I rode the bus from SLC to meet Ty in Provo and I was reading it and it was a good part and I could stop the tears from streaming down my face! It was so embarassing- but the book was too good, I couldn't put it down. Any suggestions on what I should read next? Nico- how did the tri go?

hey... just was checking the blog to see if anything new has happened... guess not. today is our one year anniversary!!! so happy anniversary to me and soren. we ate dessert at melting pot yesterday, and i have to say, i think it's a bit over-priced because it's such a novelty to eat there. fun, nonetheless. and we also saw shrek the third... pretty funny. i know, it was pretty sweet anniversary, don't be jealous :) and while i'm here i might as well give a good recipe:
THAI PEANUT CHICKEN
1 Tbsp. wok oil (peanut or canola)
1 lb. skinless, boneless chicken cut in bite-size pieces
1 red bell pepper
1 1/2 c. chicken broth
2 tsp. soy sauce
1 Tbsp. sugar
1 clove garlic, minced
1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
1 tsp. ginger
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 1/2 Tbsp. crunchy peanut butter
1 handful cilantro, chopped
green onion to your liking
2 c. dry roasted peanuts

Heat oil in a wok (or good size pan) over medium heat. Cook chicken in wok until juices run clear. Mix in red bell pepper, and continue cooking until tender. In a bowl, mix the broth, soy sauce, sugar, garlic, cayenne pepper, ginger, cornstarch, and peanut butter. (JUST A TIP: WHEN YOU MIX IN CORNSTARCH WITH ANYTHING, ALWAYS MIX IT WITH A LITTLE BIT OF COLD WATER AND THEN POUR IT INTO YOUR MIXTURE SO THAT IT DOESN'T CLUMP UP) Pour into wok. Toss green onions and cilantro (reserve some for garnish) into wok and continue to cook for 5 minutes until thickened. Mix in peanuts.

Since I only got recipes from Mckenzie and Nicole for our cook book, I decided not to bind the 5 recipes and give them out to you all. ha! ha! and Nic already posted hers so here are the ones from Mckenzie- keep posting your tasty recipes becuase I'm going to print them all out. The California boards went as good as they could have. Edna was accepted on her first submission, I was so relieved- I think I passed, but I don't know. I'm pretty sure I passed the 2 written ethics/law tests, but there were a few questions that I had know idea about. Oh my gosh- it was psycho there! There were over 150 people taking theclinicals. They did 77 in the morning and 80 in the afternoon- the clinic is GINORMOUS!! Who cares though. I've been way busy with my classes at the U- I didn't do one thing before the cali boards so I'm doing alot of catch up now. I'm at the U right now- obviously not getting alot of work done. I love you all and will write more later!

BBQ Pork Chops

6 Red potatoes, cut into quarters

6 Med. carrots, cut into 1-inch peices

8 Bone-in-loin, OR pork Chops (cut 1 inch thick)

Salt/pepper/season (to taste)-I use canadian steak seasoning, but whatever you like/have works.

1 (20 oz) Bottle of favorite BBQ sauce

1 Cup Ketsup

1 Cup Cola

2-3 Tbs. Worchestershire sauce

Place veggies in slow cooker. Top with pork chops. Sprinkle with salt, perpper and seasoning (optional). Combine BBQ sauce, ketchup, cola and W sauce. Pour over chops.

Cover and cook on low for 8-9 hours or until meat and veggies are tender.

German Pancakes

(is life really complete without a good GP recipe?)

6 eggs

1t. salt

1c. milk

1c. flour

1 cube butter

Melt butter in 9X13 pan while preheating oven too 400 degrees. Mix remaining ingredients well and pour over melted butter. Bake 20 minutes. Serve with syrup or jam and pwd sugar.

Pegs Chocolate Chip Cookies

Cream

1 cup butter (I have learned that it works best if you can take the butter out of the fridge early and use it at room temp. for this recipe)

1 cup brown sugar

1 cup sugar

2 eggs

Add

1-2t. vanilla

1t. baking soda

1t. baking pwd

1t. salt

3 cups flour (packed)

2-3 cups choc chips

Bake at 400 degrees for 7-9 minutes

Asian Beef and Noodles

(So easy and So yummy)

1 lb. groud beef

2 pkg. (3 oz each) oriental flavor Ramen noodles

2 cups frozen vegetable mixture

1 t. ground ginger

2 Tbs. thinkly sliced green onions (we love onions so I use way more than that!)

Brown meat and onions, drain fat, season with one packet of seasoning. In skillet combine 2 Cups water, veggies, noodles (broken up) ginger and remaining seasoning packet. Cover, simmer for 3 mins. Combine with meat and grean onions. Enjoy!

Hi all of my sweet RDH's!! Congrats to everyone on their passing scores! How wonderful is this summer? I read by the pool for two hours today and did not feel one bit guilty about it! I might go into serious depression when I actually have to start working.
So I just thought I would let you all know that Kenny and I have decided to deffer (how do you even spell that?) law school for one year. Basically that means that Oklahoma City University will hold Kennys spot in their program for the 2008 school year. This has been a really hard decision for us to make but we have fasted and prayed a TON and, although we are sad to not be embarking on a new adventure, we really do feel good about our decision. You see... OKU is a VERY expensive law school and it basically comes down to us feeling really anxious about getting into that much dept. Ken's dream is still to work for the FBI/DEA, and their salaries are just not quite as special as an attorny's might be:) But he WILL get to carry a gun someday, and who can put a price tag on that, really? So anyways, I am just going to spend this year working my butt off and saving every penny for our little law school fund. Kenny is also going to work his little butt off trying to increase his LSAT score, with the hopes of getting into a cheaper school next year.
So all you UTAH GALS... Hollaaa! Lets party all the time, and lets make regular visits to NYC, London, Washington, Texas, and Arizona!
Speaking of parties... I will not be able to make it to out get together next Friday:( I am totally bummed about it. I wish so badly that I could be there but my parents are taking us to Les Miserable that night. I will be thinking about you all. Everyone eat an extra "Soren Brownie" for me:)

I thrid the motion? for Friday night. . that's next Friday right? the days get all gumbled now that I don't have to go to clinic . . . Speaking of, I just sent my papers in today for my license. SO as I understand it we have to wait for the actual paper saying we're licensed before we can work, right? How are ya'll gonna start working so soon? Maybe it's the fact I can't work until Sept. but I haven't even put my resume out there . . . is that bad?
So my life's great I have one more month of working and then I'm off for the summer. I can't wait. I'll be scoping England out for Em starting July 17th and it can't come sooner. And if any of you are gonna take care of Eric, wanna add Jim to it? . . . nah really we're friends, just not dating anymore. I think we realized even though we both wanted something more to happen, it's just not meant to be, and we're 100% ok with it, but we still talk. So Kara, I'm feelin for ya.
Denise- I am so sad to see you and little Brayden go. . . she is growing up so much and is SO ridiculously cute! Sad. . I think you're the first to go :(

Hello to all. I am so proud of all of us. Who is the smartest class to ever graduate from UVSC Dental Hygiene? I think that would be the Class of 2007. Anyway, CONGRATULATIONS everybody. Em and Marnae with my work schedule the Friday night works best for me. I have to close the other night so I don't get off until 9:30. But you guys do whatever night works best for everybody else. I would love to get together with everybody. It has been wierd to not see each other every day. I really do miss you all. I have come to think of everybody as family. I just wanted you all to know that Eric and I aren't dating anymore. We haven't been for about three weeks now, but I haven't really been able to talk about it so that is why the delay on the news. I know things will work out eventually for me. I just have to have faith. I am doing better with the situation now, but if anybody wants to hurt him I will give you permission to do so.

I have a working interview on Friday June 1 for Dr. Wilson in Provo. Good ole Kim got me in on this one. He seems like a way nice guy. I am excited about it and ready to get on with my life. I am still only planning on working hygiene two days a week and staying on at Sports Authority for four days a week for a while. I still like it there and can't convince myself to quit and get rid of my awesome discount just yet. Marnae I would love to come to the baby blessing. If anybody else is planning on going will you let me know. Emily good luck on Saturday, you will do amazing.

I PASSED!!! I am so relieved right now I can't even stand it! I was so nervous when I was opening that envelope- I was trying to figure out how I was going to tell you all I failed. I might go to a lab later this week and mold myself a golden scaler of my own if anyone wants to come with me. Well, I got at 86.9, I'm no MARNAE, who got 99.88, but I am pleased as a peach. If I ever have any hygiene related questions I'll be calling Marnae- and who minuses .12 anyway?? The examiners must have been pressed to find an error with her perfection!

Anyway, I lost the anesthesia letter (typical of me) that the veit gave us, so I have to get another one. Then onto getting a license!! Yippeeeee! I have to admit, I'm not too sad that I can't get my license expedited!

So, let's get together one night next week. Me and Marnae were talking about doing dessert/games one night around 7 next week. So what about Wednesday June 6th or Friday June 8th at 7pm? Marnae said we could go to her house, or if it's more convenient for you to go closer to you because of work or whatever let us know! If these dates aren't good, just post better ones for you and we can all coordinate. I say husbands, friends, kids, anyone in invited. Sound like a plan? I really really really miss everyone so we have to get together sometime soon if next week doesn't work out.

It's so good to read everybody's posts! I miss you all like crazy. Has anybody beside Katy found a job yet? I've sent out a few resume's and had a couple interviews. One Dr. was an older guy with two chairs, no computers, and clutter everywhere! I said no thanks :) Another Dr. I interviewed with, I came to find out, knows my bro-in-law. I go to lunch with him and his office staff tomorrow. I hope I get this one!!! Everybody cross your fingers for me.
I hope everyone had a good holiday weekend. We took the kids up to Park City for the weekend and stayed at a really nice place. We ended up buying a time-share. I know. I don't want to talk about it. It's pretty sweet though. We're going to Orlando and Disney World in September. Derrick's been working a bunch and i've been going on fieldtrips with the kids. It's been fun, but i'm ready to work. Love y'all! I love the pictures!!!!

Oh my gosh, those are the cutest pictures I've ever seen! Denise, good luck with your move this weekend! Marnae, can you ask Dave to bless me in Milly's baby blessing becuase I'm going to be taking my california boards at that same time. We're driving to Cali this Saturday, I take the written ethics test at 10, then a written california law test at 11, then the clinicals at 2. Then we're driving home Sunday night. It's going to be psycho. And yeah....about those written tests, does anyone know anything about California dental law/ethics, becuase I don't. Those tests should be interesting. I'm still taking the boards becuase we'll move back to cali for at least a year when we leave London.

No results from SLC yet, I think I failed so I don't really care to get the results. We went to the cabin with my fam for the weekend and went waterskiing- it was so freezing. Nothing else really new with us. I'm thinking WE SHOULD ALL GET TOGETHER for a big party next week- I'm thinking next Friday or Saturday June 8th or 9th, I'm not sure about those dates. We could go roast some mallows up provo canyon or just go to someones house and have a little pot luck, what do you think??

I'll let you know how the california boards go this weekend, I really don't care about them now, but ty keeps telling me I need to study for the written tests since we're driving all the way there- who does he think he is anyway?

Ok so we went to the zoo and it was oh so fun ( and by fun I mean 2000 degrees and wall-to-wall people). Everything is going great here. I love doing this mom thing and not having to get up and go to school. I do have to admit that I miss all of you like crazy. I haven't heard anything about the SLC clinicals I am terrified. terrified that I failed because it will be hard as the dickens to re-take but also scared that I passed cause that means I may have to get a job. We shall see. On a lighter note... we are blessing Millie Mae on Sun. June 2 at the church behind the hospital by our house. Our sacrament starts at 1:00 p.m. and we are going to eat after the blessing. This is an invitation not an obligation( I need my fix of you people) I hope that all is well for you all. Chinese Chicken Salad

I wanted to keep the recipe thing going;

1/2 head of cabbage
4-5 green onions
a bunch of slivered toasted almonds
1 c. chicken with your choice of seasoning
1-2 pkgs Ramen noodles

Dressing:
1/3 c. rice vinegar
1/3 c. oil
1/2 c. sugar
2 oriental flavor ramen dressing packets

Add dressing right before serving

Just an FYI for all those who haven't started the expediting process with the license...it is closed! They stopped that service on Monday. Looks like I won't be licensed for 30 days. Oh well...
Since I'm not sure what happened with the recipe book...maybe a little thing called boards got in the way...I thought I'd post a recipe. It's the stuff I brought to class.

Sweet Chex Mix

Put in the following in a lg bowl and mix:
8.5 C corn chex
2 C coconut
6 C golden grahams
1 C Sliced Almonds

Heat on stove:
1 C Karo Syrup
1/3 C Butter
1 C sugar

Bring this to a boil and boil for 2 mins. Pour over cereal mix and spread on a cookie sheet.

Hey everyone. Denise, that is so awesome you passed, I'm so happy for you! I hope you all got my text today! I can't believe we're actually moving to London! I'm so excited, but scared now that it's really real. It just sounded cool before, but now I'm realizing it across the world and I've never been there- but it will be an awesome experience. Me and Ty went to Barnes and noble today and just read travel books about it for hours- it really doesn't feel real.
Anyway, I'm so happy for everyone who's passed so far. I really don't know if I passed, but who cares- I don't think I'll be doing hygiene for awhile anyway. I hope I passed though! I'm still going to take the California boards- just becuase I want to put myself through the misery again in another state. If I don't pass the first time, I won't retake it.

Katie, I can't believe you're really working now! You're all grown up. You're honeymoon pictures are so beautiful.

Ty's bar study class starts tomorrow, so pretty much I'm not going to see him until the end of July...so if anone wants to hang out- give me a call. My classes at the U of U are going ok. Ok actually I hate them. It's so weird to go sit in a huge classroom again and not say anything to anyone. I did make a friend today though, aren't you all proud?

Well, I love you all. Please come to London in the next 2 years. You can get airfare for under $500 and you have a free place to stay. I'll even clean your teeth if you come.

just wanted to continue to congratulate all the chickas who passed clinicals... and i think an uber-congrats to laurel!!! oh yeah! just wanted to take a little poll since i don't have you guys to consult with in person everyday. i miss you all!!! seriously though, any ideas as to what i can do for my one year anniversary? keep in mind, i'm pretty poor and we can't travel because soren is in school, but we could do some fun weekend thing. i suck at things like this so i need all your creative help :) thanks! and i'm so jealous of emily!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, I've been an old married woman now for over a month! Kip and I had a blast in Kauai! We went on a boat Ride along the Napali coastline and jumped in and swam with all the fish!

We stayed in an awesome condo right on a cove leading to the ocean. In the mornings we would wake up before the sunrise and go check out the dozens of giant sea turtles and flying fish that lived in the cove. It was awesome! Kip made me a sweet Hawaiian breakfast and the view from our patio was breathtaking!

I was able to get liscensed last week and yesterday was my first day of work at Dr. Ashman's office. It wasn't nearly as bad as I thought! I felt really confident and I think we'll all do great! It sounds like everyone is doing great! Good to hear from you!

Hey ya'll. I have to get used to talking like a Texan. We're out of here in less than two weeks. It's exciting to move on but we're sad to leave. I still haven't heard the results from my nightmare of a test. I had my results sent to my parent's house in Chicago cause I didn't know we'd get them back so fast. They'll probably get there either tomorrow or Wednesday. I'm glad everybody's patient was accepted and it didn't happen to anyone else. Chances were that it was bound to happen to somebody and I'm glad that nobody else had to go through it. Let's hope there's a happy ending though. Here's some pics of Brayden. She's already almost four months old. It's so much fun not having to worry about school and just playing with her being a full time mom. I highly recommend it. ~Denise

Wahoo!! Congrats to everyone who's passing too. I can't believe it's official now... I get to quit my job, well in a month :) I agree with McKenzie, we should all be posting more. And as for pictures when you post a new blog there's an option above the text box that shows a pic of a landscape (right next to the ABC check mark) that says "add image" click that, browse to choose your image and post. I'm excited to see ya'lls pics cause I know ya have 'em. Congrats Em! All you people who do triathalons are my inspiration! Have a great summer gals - WE'RE DONE!!

Hi everyone! Congratulations to all who pass their clinicals. I am so proud! You are official RDH's:) So I check our blog atleast once a day (that is right, I have no life now) and I think that you all should post more. I miss you all SO MUCH!
All is well here. Grizz just learned how to 'Stay' even when he cannot see me. And Ken finally passed Zelda on Nintendo 64. I couldn't be more proud:)
Can anyone tell me how to post pictures? I have a few from our cruise and from the Triathlon that Em, Nico and I did last month. Speaking of Tri's... Em and I did one yesterday and she took 3rd again!!!! She is to modest to tell y'all that, but she is amazing!

Hi everybody! This blog thing is pretty sweet. Good luck to everybody taking clinicals this weekend! I just looked at my transcripts. I managed to pass this last semester, barely! Has everybody got their national results? Derrick had to open these ones for me too. Now i'm just working on getting my stuff to dopl, then time to job hunt. Yeah! My bro-in -law gave me a job on fridays just doing SRPs.
Derrick and I are doing awesome, yep, still married :) We're running around like crazy people. We have little league 3 days a week, karate 2 days a week, and dance for the girls one day a week. Life is busy, but fun! How are those babies? Post pictures pleeez! Chat later. Erin :)

Congratulations to everybody for passing the national. We are one amazing group of women. About the clincials, don't stress out about it. You guys know what you need to know to pass it. We were all taught the things we needed to know. The hardest part for me was waiting for Dustin to come back from check-in. After that things went really smooth. Just believe in yourself and it will be okay. Good Luck to everybody who goes this weekend. You will do amazing. I hope all is well with everybody. I miss seeing you all everyday and I love ya!!!
